B-M Bullet Assembly Press

Originally delivered to the Swedish Government Ammunition Board by AB Bolinder-Munktell in 1942, this heavy-duty bullet assembly press was meticulously renovated and modernized by our team to meet today's production standards.

6-Station horizontal transfer press

It is designed to be fed with pre-drawn and cut bullet jackets alongside pre-formed lead cores.

  • Stations 1 & 2: Point Forming – Progressively shaping the ogive (tip) of the jacket.

  • Station 3: Core Insertion – Seating of the pre-formed lead core into the jacket.

  • Station 4: Base Closing – Folding and sealing the base of the jacket to secure the core.

  • Station 5: Final Forming – Pressing the bullet into its final shape.

  • Station 6: Calibration (Sizing) – Final sizing process to guarantee strict dimensional tolerances and concentricity.

Performance & Output

  • Production Rate: 60 to 80 bullets per minute, providing a highly reliable and steady output for commercial manufacturing.
