Being able to dissemble and assemble the mechanism in under 1 minute is important not only when changing caliber but also if you have problems with the cases. A bent or dented case can sometimes be hard to remove. On this machine: Lose one screw and you can take the in feed apart.
The case in feed also doubles as a control for feeding in the right type of case. At the end of the stroke the cartridge case diameter is measured and if a small or large diameter is found the machine stops, so that the faulty case can be removed.
